My two week trip to the Teardrop of India took me from coast to jungle to hill country and back again. I surprised myself at how much I managed to cram into such a short period of time, but what surprised me more was the vast variety of sights, climates and landscapes that make up this extraordinary little island.
Whilst my films are being developed and my photos are being edited, here are some quick snaps from my iPhone to give a glimpse into my travels. Highlights included surfing at Weligama beach as the sun went down, eating roadside rice and curry for £1 on the way up to Ella, spending the day eating and laughing with a lovely local family and of course meeting some incredible people from all over the world.
Keep your eyes peeled for more blogposts about the places I visited, including a film journal!
